Hello, my name is Dan Cosley. I am a guitarist and composer with over 20 years of experience in music education.

I am dedicated to creating a customized learning experience that is tailored to your specific needs, interests, and goals. I will help you develop your skills, expand your musical horizons, and achieve your full potential as a musician.

Please view my full biography and CV here…

My teaching approach incorporates a diverse range of musical genres and techniques, including classical repertoire, jazz standards, etudes, ensemble playing, improvisation, sight-reading, solfège, theory, composition, arranging, popular and folk tunes, and beyond.

I prioritize understanding my students’ unique needs and aspirations and work to eliminate any obstacles that may hinder their progress. I encourage my students to break free from rigid and limiting musical ideologies and technical dogmas, fostering a creative and exploratory learning environment.

Students enrolled in weekly lessons receive free access to my video lessons site.

I welcome students of all ages, skill levels, and musical preferences. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, and interested in any genre, from classical to contemporary jazz, I am here to help you clarify and achieve your goals.
